Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and writer who was awarded numerous Awards. Her name is well-known for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). She was raised by an artistic family in New York and wanted to explore a career in the art. At first she was employed as an assistant to photographers. Then she shifted her focus towards modeling and directing. She won an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising actress. MacGraw was a worldwide star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. After only three movies, MacGraw was named the top female debut at the box office worldwide. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972. Other films she has appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was released. MacGraw was divorced three times.
