Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, performer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her acting career on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in several Broadway plays before breaking through into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina the following year. Louise started her Hollywood career in 1958, as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. It was an enormous success and Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's teacher. Louise joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to the glamorous image that she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary but she also made a mark as a successful television director with various series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex August 28th on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection to play the lead.
