Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul vocalist actor and songwriter. She's won a Grammy Award and Children's and Family Emmy Award. Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nominations are also an honor for her. Andra Day, an accomplished musician and singer with a background in gospel music and blues with a love of the current world. She is much more than an R&B throwback expert. Her ability to combine her influences of jazz, gospel, and blues into the R&B genre is remarkable. After growing up living in San Diego and surrounding areas her first performance was in church and enrolled to at the School of Creative and Performing Arts. The track was soon received by DJs, who started broadcasting it to the radio. After the signing of Warner Bros. Records, she began to work with producer Adrian Gurvitz for their debut record "Cheers to the Fall" (2015). The album featured Rise Up which has become an international music video for social justice campaigns. Day received the album two Grammy nominations for her album which included Best R&B Album. In 2019, she debuted her sophomore album The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album about the life of the legendary jazz singer. The United States Versus Billie Holiday is a biographical account of Holiday which was released in the in the same year. Andi Mathichak was born the United States. Her first appearance was on television series like 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her film debut with Allyson Nelson in the film horror series Halloween as well as the sequels. Andi matichak is a American actress, born 03 May 1994 Framingham in Massachusetts.
