Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Her mother, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese origin, and her father, Winston Barrett Munn, comes from a family that has long-standing roots within the American South. Olivia was 2 years old at the time her parents separated. She is now raised by her stepfather and mom. He's an United States Air Force soldier. Although the family departed Oklahoma and stayed in various places, she was educated in Tokyo, Japan. In the years that followed she performed in various local theater productions, and then was a model within the Japanese fashion industry. After the family returned to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her ambition of becoming an actor. Through a string of small performances, Olivia achieved success after she was cast as Mily Acua on the Hawaii filming of the TV show Beyond the Break 2006 and the receptionist for Rob Schneider. She is the host of "The Daily Nut" and"Formula D," the "Formula D" podcasts on G4. Since the 2006 television show Beyond the Break, she has continued to surf. Additionally, she holds an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. In the year 2000, when she turned two years of age, her mother was married again. The family has moved many times but she was a majority of her youth in Tokyo Japan due to the fact that it was where her father was stationed. She completed her journalism studies at the University of Oklahoma and also majored in Japanese drama, dramatic arts, and acting.
